AnyWhere Elementor Integration with WPML

AnyWhere Elementor Pro is compatible with the popular translation plugin WPML(WordPress Multilingual Translation Plugin). It allows you to translate your AE Templates into any language you want.

WPML makes it easy to build and run multilingual sites. It allows taxonomies and custom post types to be translatable into different languages and offers an easy-to-use interface for managing translations.

First, to begin with, make sure that the following plugins are installed and activated.

  • AnyWhere Elementor Pro
  • WPML Multilingual CMS
  • WPML String Translation

WPML Customization

  1. In the WordPress Dashboard, go to WPML -> Settings
  2. Enable Post-type Translations for the AE Global Templates.
  3. Then click on the Save button.

  4. Next, under the Custom Field Translation Settings, enable the Copy option for all the "ae_" fields. 
  5. Then, click on the Save button.

AE Template Settings

  • Go to your WordPress Dashboard -> WPML -> Translation Dashboard. Then, click on the AE Global templates tab.
  • Choose the template you want to translate. You can select more than one template at a time. Then, click on Translate your Content button.

  • Next, scroll down to the second step. Here, you can choose the languages you want to translate your content into. You can pick one language or all the available ones.
  • You will also decide how the translation should be done: automatically, by you, or by a translator.
  • If you select the Translate Automatically option, WPML will display the number of credits required from your account to translate the content. For newly registered sites, the default translation engine will be Private Translation Cloud (PTC), WPML's proprietary AI.

  • We choose the "Translate myself" option. Then, click the "Translate" button. A popup will appear, taking you to the Translation page.

  • On this page, click the Translate button for the language you want. Do this for both languages.

  • After clicking the Translate button, you'll go to the WPML Advanced Translation Editor. There, you can type your translation in the box and save it.

Translate Content

  • You can also translate the media used in your template file. This includes translating the image’s alt text, title, description, and caption.
  • When you're done, click the Save and Complete button to finish.

All the content for which translations are provided in your template will be translated into the selected Language.
